Forbes 50 Over 50

Forbes’ ‘50 Over 50: 2023’ Honors Marvell Foods President Marilyn Raybin

The nationwide search for America’s most successful women of 2023 has concluded, and Marilyn Raybin, President of Marvell Foods, has earned a spot on the illustrious Forbes 50 over 50 list. For three years, Forbes Magazine, in conjunction with MSNBC, has sponsored this competition that features women from a wide variety of sectors – media, arts, entertainment, publishing, literature, business, and a host of other industries, for the purpose of spotlighting women who have achieved great success later in their careers.

Marilyn Raybin is proud to have been selected to be among this list of women, many of whom are high-profile celebrities with national and, in many cases, international name recognition as trailblazers and leaders in their respective careers and industries. Below, you will see how both Forbes as well as MSNBC have promoted this event on their respective media platforms. You may also find the “congratulations letter” from Maggie McGrath, Editor of Forbes Women, advising Ms. Raybin of her selection and inclusion on this year’s list.

Dear Marilyn Raybin,

Happy 50 Over 50 Day! My name is Maggie McGrath, and I’m the editor of ForbesWomen. I’m writing today to share the release of the third annual 50 Over 50—our list, produced in partnership with Mika Brzezinski and her Know Your Value initiative, of women creating their greatest impact at 50 and beyond. And on behalf of the entire Forbes and Know Your Value teams, I am pleased to inform you that you have earned a position on this year’s list! You can view it in full here. Congratulations!

We are very proud of this editorial list—the result of five months of research and reporting plus a round of judging from 12 industry experts and list alum—and we hope you are, too! We’re posting the good news on all @Forbes, @ForbesWomen, @KnowYourValue, @morningmika and @mikabrzezinski social platforms.

Finally—because we believe this is a powerful community of women who deserve to meet and network with each other in person—we’d like you to pencil two dates onto your calendars: Wednesday, October 25 is the date of our Over 50 Luncheon in New York City, and from March 5-8, 2024, we’ll be returning to Abu Dhabi, in the UAE, for our third annual 30/50 Summit. That event convenes women from the 30 Under 30 and 50 Over 50 (and all ages in between) for a thrilling and impactful four days of programming, mentorship and connection. You can see the highlights from last year’s summit here.

Thank you so very much for answering our reporters’ questions over the last several months and for being a part of this community. We are so thrilled to have you join us!

Cheers!
Maggie
